I design with integrity, ingenuity and thoughtfulness. My intent is that your home stands the test of time, structurally and with its appeal. I ensure the home fits the site and compliments its surroundings. I listen to my clients, respecting their dreams and priorities. I am balanced in my approach to environmental concerns and budget, finding solutions that respect both. In addition, I have a history of completing projects on time and within or under budget. People who have worked with me know I prepare clear and concise plans, love to manage large projects and have exceptional computer-aided drafting skills.
I've always been impressed how architecture enhances and affects my perception of the world and reflects the culture that built it. I've always been impassioned with the idea of giving timeless, quality built, strikingly attractive buildings for others to enjoy for many generations to come. When an architect has designed with thoughtfulness and care, it stays with the building, people notice on some level and the space can actually take on sacred qualities.
With 18 years design experience in the fields of residential design, site planning and development, civil engineering, land surveying, I offer a unique set of experiences to draw from. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Ecological Design, Architecture and Furniture Design from The Evergreen State College. I have extensive experience in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) programs. I currently live in Olympia, Washington, in the beauty of the Northwest.
