OLY WAVES DANCE STUDIO COMMERCIAL REMODEL

 

 

OlyWaves Dance Studio

is a community offering 5Rhythms ecstatic dance and workshops in Olympia, WA. As Waves grew in numbers, they contacted Lucid 9 Design for their pre-construction consultation, then interior remodel plans in a commercially-zoned building.

Commercial Building Remodel Features:

  • FSC and locally reclaimed lumber stud walls, trim and sprung dance floor framing
  • Low and no VOC paints and finish materials
  • Low energy light fixtures and bulbs
  • Locally contracted builders and volunteers

Community 

    OlyWaves Studio serves the community of Thurston County, WA and surrounding Counties with their somatic movement dance for transformational healing. The dance community gave time, materials and donations to help install new walls, paint existing ones, finish posts and beams, install finish details, remove the drop ceiling, and install the maple plywood sprung dance floor.
